White-dotted Mosquito

Very closely related to the Common House Mosquito, and sharing most of its traits.

It is a known vector of West Nile virus.

Woodland Pool Mosquito

ochlerotatus stimulans

Medium-sized and have distinctive markings on their legs and abdomen.

They are aggressive biters and can be a nuisance in wooded areas.
